When you grow-up you may decide that it’s time for an adventure. So, with suitcase in hand, you move to another region of the United States. But WAIT! How will you know which of the regions of the US would be best for you? Wouldn’t it be easier to decide if you had a brochure from each state? Well, you’re in luck! The Governors’ Counsel has appointed you as an Ambassador. Your mission is to create a brochure that will attract newcomers (that may be you - some day) to your region. The Governors of your region are depending on you; not only that, you will use the brochures created by everybody to chart your destiny! (taken from Picasso).

You must learn about your state and create a PowerPoint presentation about it.

The dictionary says "something given up or lost, the sacrifices made by parents or troops."

There are men and women who make sacrifices for us to have our freedom. As we begin writing out Thank You Letters to the troops, I would like you to tell me a time when you had to sacrifice something.

Summer is Almost Over

Well, summer is almost over. We have two weeks left before school starts. So, I suggest you enjoy yourself and spend your time wisely! :-) Get some sun, go outside and play with your friends, and begin going to bed earlier because August 13th is coming very quickly.

Mother's Day

Good morning,

All year we have been a family. So as a family, I have some news to share. My mother passed away yesterday, Mother's Day. As you know she has been sick and so her passing was not unexpected.
